Program description

If you are 19-40 years old and seeking for Temporary Summer job in Greece, Cyprus or UK, you've come to the right place! There are Summer jobs available starting from April until the end of October in all the Greek islands and Cyprus. NOTE: We can accept only EU citizens, or Candidates eligible to work in European Countries.

We can not arrange Work permits for candidates out of EU zone.

Can I apply?

All placements are open to any EU citizens, with a valid EU, EEA or EFTA passport. If you are not an EU citizen you must be eligible to work in UK or the European Union.

The application process:

Fill out the on line application form, upload your photos and record a video presentation.

1. First we screen your application against the requirements and decide your suitability. If you meet the criteria you will receive a confirmation and invitation for a phone interview.

2. You will also be informed if your application is unsuccessful.

3. After the preliminary interview your application will be compared with others' and a short list of the best candidates would be made and forwarded to the hosting company.

4. The hosting company- Hotel will probably want to interview you as well

The final decision will be made after the interview and you will be informed about the results.

When will I know if I got the job or not?

The processing time varies. Typically it takes from 4 to 12 weeks depends on the starting date of the vacancy, but you will get an answer at least 2 months before the starting date of the job.

What information do I get for the company?

Basic information about the hosting company would be advertised on our web site. If your application has been successful we will forward more information about the company, web site and other details.

How much do I get paid?

The payment depends on the position and vary:

500-600 EURO per month for Waiting staff, Bar Staff, Housekeeping and Asst. Kitchen staff- for candidates with 3 months to 1 year working experience in the field

600-800 EURO per month for candidates with more then 1 year experience

800-1200 EURO per month for Head Chefs, Cooks and Management level candidates.

The remuneration packages are not negotiable under any circumstances!

What about Food &Accommodation?

The Hotel will supply the candidates with at least 2 meals per day and suitable accommodation within the premises of the hotel. Usually there are 2-3 students sharing one room.

Who covers my Travel Expenses?

All the candidates will be responsible for covering the costs for the travel expenses from their Home country to the Hotel by themselves. The Employer could participate in the travel cost only on their free will.

What happens if I don't like the placement?

At least ten days notice is required on both sides( The hotel and The candidate) in case when the parties want to terminate the engagement. The candidate will remain on their post and perform the everyday duties. They will receive full board and pocket money regularly within these ten days, until he/she is sent to a new hotel or replaced by another candidate. You must inform the agent if you would like to change the placement or leave the employer for any reason.

Duration of the program

For Greece and Cyprus placements there are different starting and finishing dates depends on the Hotel, the location and the season and the candidates can choose:

From 1st- -15th of April until 30th of September ( or 15-30th of October)

From 1st -15th of May until 30th of September(or 15-30th of October)

1st of June-30th of September ( or 15-30th of October) mostly for students

There are always placements available during high season and there is a possibility of starting the program on 1st of July or 1st of August if the finishing date is 30th of October.

All the candidates need to state the availability dates so a suitable placement would be chosen individually.

Do I have to pay for the service?

There are two options. You can use our services for FREE!

If you choose the second option, there will be one time admin Fee of only 100 EURO deducted from your first salary

What do you get by paying the fee:

1. Regular update on available vacancies by e-mail or phone

2. "My stay in "The Host Country" info pack, you will get after signing the placement contract

3. 24h open Help Line while your stay in the host country Consultation on finding and booking cheap (plane, bus, train and ferry) tickets, hostels, travel insurance, medical help etc.

4. Mediation if any problems occur and placement to a new Host company if needed without any additional costs.

Locations and Hotels available

There are more then 400 open vacancies this year in all the Greek islands as well as Cyprus. The hotels are usually 4* and 5* Stars, though there are 3* budget hotels but recommended and checked by our company.

Note that more information on the vacancies available you will receive from the beginning of February as by the local laws, Greek employers must collect and review the applications of their old staff until the end of January, then send the official number of new employees they would need for the season 2008.
